Maureen Anne Quilliam, 69, of Londonderry, NH, passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at her residence with her loving family by her side. She was born on November 26, 1955, in Glen Cove, NY, a daughter of the late Roy and Helen (Honey) (Marron) Citrano. She had been a resident of Londonderry for the past 25 years, formerly living in Long Island, NY.
Maureen was known for her love of family, good friends, animals, and old movies. Her happy place was spending time with those she loved, whether in large, noisy gatherings or during quiet coffee chats. Maureen cherished walks on the beach with her husband and their dogs. Her love for all animals was profound; she held fond memories of a two-week horseback ride across Ireland and could always be counted on to help any creature in need—from a turtle needing a hand crossing the road to a bird she was rehabilitating. Her love of old movies drove an encyclopedic knowledge of plots and actors.
Maureen retired from BAE Systems where she was a Senior Administrative Assistant. Prior to that she worked at Grumman Aerospace in Bethpage, NY where she met her husband. She began her professional career following in her father’s footsteps working for Meenan Oil in Wantagh, NY.
She is survived by her loving husband of 29 years, Bryant Quilliam of Londonderry; her brother, Brian Citrano; two sisters, Debbie Citrano and Markey Pappalardo; and many wonderful nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and a grandnephew. She was predeceased by her brother, Cpl. Roy M. Citrano. She comes from a large extended family of Aunts, Uncles and many cousins who all knew and loved Maureen's gentle, compassionate way she had with every person she came into contact with. Maureen is also survived by the many friends she cherished, some from childhood and others gained throughout her life.
