Michael Carey, Born June 4, 1960 in Roxbury Massachusetts. Entered into rest July 23, 2025. Michael is the beloved father of Theresa Marie Carey and the late Michael Thomas Carey. Beloved son of Elizabeth A. Carey of Roslindale, Mass. Long time life partner Debra Ann Smith of Roslindale, Mass. Michael is survived by many cousins who mourn his passing. Michael graduate Xaverian Brothers class of 79. Michael was a member of Elks Boston Post 10, an honorary member of American Legion Post 76 in Jamaica Plain and was a longtime active member of their color guard. Michael was a member of City of Boston AFSCME Council 93 for which he served as president and proudly helped his fellow city workers obtain dental insurance through the City of Boston.
