Patricia A. (Sweeney) Pellerin, 87 of Tewksbury, passed away peacefully after a period of declining health on Monday, July 21, 2025 at Sunny Acres Nursing Home in Chelmsford. She was the widow of the late Howard W. Pellerin who passed away in 2023 after 58 years of marriage.
She was born on April 9, 1938 in Cambridge, MA and was a daughter of the late John and Rita (Avery) Sweeney. She was raised in Cambridge, where she graduated from Cambridge High School.
After her marriage in 1965, her and Howie relocated to Tewksbury, where they raised their family. She was employed at the IRS as a coordinator and manager for over fifteen years before her retirement.
She is survived by her three sons, John Pellerin of Tewksbury, Mark Pellerin of Tewksbury, and Jim Pellerin and his wife, Julie of Nashua, NH; her two granddaughters, Katryna and Emma; her stepson, Brian Avery of Newburyport; and several nieces and nephews
She was also the sister of the late Joyce Scalesse and her husband the late Richie Scalesse.
