Resa Faye Vickers Green, 86, of Omega passed away Thursday, July 24, 2025, at Legacy Village in Tifton. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 28, 2025, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Andy Ring officiating. Mrs. Green will be laid to rest at Salem Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Monday, July 28, 2025, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of the service.
Mrs. Green’s grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
Mrs. Green was born in Eldorado on October 25, 1938, and she was the daughter of the late Eubulus Vickers and Mary Fuller Vickers. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Henry “Glenn” Green; one daughter, Darlene Sherry Batten; and several brothers and sisters. One of her greatest joys was cooking and she was great at it. She loved her family and loved making a house a home as a homemaker. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church.
Mrs. Green is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, Dane and Lisa Green, Kevin Green and Keith and Suzanne Green, all of Omega; two daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie and Robert Davis of Tifton and Kimberly and Ricky Joyner of Omega; fifteen grandchildren and their spouses; twenty-four great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
