SULLIVAN, Bartholomew P. of Dedham, July 9, 2025. Beloved father of Declan McGinnis and Faioleann McGinnis of Worcester.
Son of the late Bartholomew and Eileen (Raymond) Sullivan of Dedham. Cherished brother of Eileen Sweeney and her partner William Kennedy of Pennsylvania, Edward Sweeney of Dedham, Daniel Sweeney and his wife Dorothy of Newburyport and Margaret Sweeney of Dedham. Loving uncle of Adele, Nora, Margaret, Eileen and Danielle Sweeney. Also survived by his Aunt Mary Leach of Braintree and many cousins.
Bart was the most beautiful baby ever. His eyelashes were so long that the girls were jealous, lol, he even cut them one time. Unfortunately, we were all at least ten years older than him so we were not around him too much when he got older. He had a lot of friends and let people know that "Bart Rules" when he was a teenager. Bart loved his two children and was looking forward to spending a lot more time with them. Bart loved his tattoos and was very passionate when expressing his opinion, just like his brothers and sisters. Mom and dad loved their son. They would and had done anything for him. His sister Margie was there for him whenever he needed her. He was a friend and roommate for his brother Eddie. He worked with his brother Danny at Fidelity and they both loved each others company. Bart will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
A visitation will be held at the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St, Dedham on Wednesday, July 30 from 9-11am followed by a funeral service in the funeral home beginning at 11am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
