Christine M. Lebrun, 61, of Millville passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family on Sunday evening July 20, 2025. Know to all as Chris, she was the loving and committed spouse of the late Richard “Rick” Weiker, Jr. who passed away on April 22, 2025. Chris faced her illness over the past several months with her own special brand of grace and courage mixed in with plenty of good-natured humor. Chris wouldn’t have had it any other way.
Born in Woonsocket Chris was the daughter of Pauline T. Cazeault of Woonsocket and the late Paul R. Lebrun. Chris grew up in Woonsocket and Bellingham and resided in Millville for many years.
In her earlier years she worked at Avery-Dennison Corporation and Universal Wild in Canton, MA. In more recent years Chris was employed at R.R. Donnelly in Hyde Park, MA as a shift coordinator.
Christine enjoyed camping and taking in the beauty of the outdoors. She took many memorable road trips especially down south to North Carolina and Florida.
Family was at the center of her life. Chris cherished time spent with those she loved most whether it was taking in all the excitement of amusement parks or just relaxing by the light of a camp fire on a warm summer evening.
Chris will be remembered for her quiet and relaxed persona. She would proudly go on record as pleading guilty to spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her mom Pauline, Chris is survived by her two greatest accomplishments in life her son Michael Lebrun and her daughter Makayla Lebrun both of Millville. She was the proud grandmother of Alana, Blake and Nicholas and great-grandmother of Jaxson and Emberlyn.
Chris will remain the forever loved sister of John Lebrun and his wife Carol of Blackstone and Lisa Newlands and her husband Timothy of Chepachet. Chris is also survived by Rick’s family including his children and grandchildren.
Everyone is welcome to gather for services to remember, honor and celebrate Christine’s life on Monday July 28, 2025 at 11:00 am at Menard-Lacouture Funeral Home, 127 Carrington Ave. Woonsocket. Chris will be laid to rest at St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham. Visiting hours are Monday morning from 9:00-11:00 am prior to the service.
