Sheila Marie Wagner, 48, of Brockton formerly of Dorchester, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 19, 2025, after a lengthy battle with cancer. Sheila fought the good fight and her bravery and determination never wavered.
Sheila was born on March 27, 1977 in Dorchester, Massachusetts and is survived by her parents, William and Margaret (Connolly) Wagner.
Sheila is survived more importantly by her much loved daughter, Annie Joyce Dowd and preceded in death by Annie Connolly, her great-grandmother with whom she shared a very special bond.
Sheila is also survived by her aunts, Eileen Connolly of Weymouth, Christine Roth of Venice, FL, and Ann Flower of Patchogue, NY, as well as Mary Keller and Clare Bradley of Bradenton, FL, and Katherine Georgopoulos of PA, with uncles Michael Wagner of Bradenton, FL, and David Wagner of NE, and preceded in death by uncles Philip Wagner of NE, Donald Wagner of FL, and aunt Theresa Chase of NE. Sheila was blessed to have many cousins and beautiful loving friends who were there by her side as she went on her final journey.
When you think of Sheila, celebrate the good memories you have of her. Remember that life is fragile, short and should be lived to the fullest. Sheila will live in the memories of her family and friends forever and will be missed more than words could ever describe.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, July 27, 2025 from 3-6pm at the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street, Brockton. Her Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, July 28, 2025 at 10:30am at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 433 West St, Brockton. Interment will be private.
