Obituary

Worcester: William D. Wyman, 67, passed away unexpectedly on July 1, 2025 at home. He was predeceased by his sister Deborah (Wyman) Atchue, sister Nancy (Wyman) Smith Teachout, brother-in-law Ralph Atchue, sister-in-law Debora (St Francis) Wyman, and his parents. He leaves his sister, Cynthia Wyman, and brother, Robert Wyman, Jr., along with many beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.


Billy was born in Worcester, son of the late Robert and Donna (Hirsch)Wyman, Sr. He graduated from Worcester Boys Trade High School and worked at Wyman Gordon for many years. He also worked at Walmart as the Associate Manager of Sporting Goods for several years. He was an avid member of St. Michael’s on the Heights Church, where he quietly supported many efforts. He enjoyed attending family cookouts, always bringing the steaks. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was also a great Rudolph to all his nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on July 24, 2025 at 10:00am at St. Michael’s on the Heights Church, 340 Burncoat St.Worcester. Private burial will follow in Rural Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Billy’s name may be made to Marie’s Mission at St. Michael’s on the Heights.
