Rosemary Chepkosgei
January 1, 1958 – July 8, 2025
Rosemary Chepkosgei, 67, of Webster, MA, passed away peacefully on July 8, 2025, at UMass Memorial Medical Center – University Campus in Worcester, surrounded by her loving family.
She is survived by her devoted daughter, Nancy Jeptoo, as well as her brother Nelson and Sister Jane, many nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, the late Joshua and Zibora Chumo of Kapsabet, Kenya.
Born in Kapsabet, Kenya, Rosemary built a life grounded in faith, compassion, and service. She worked in the healthcare field, where her nurturing spirit and dedication touched many lives.
Rosemary was a member of Tri-State Baptist Church, where she actively participated in worship and fellowship. She found joy in teaching Sunday School, spending time with family and friends, prayer, singing hymns, cooking traditional meals, and sharing words of encouragement with those around her.
A devoted Christian, Rosemary’s life reflected grace, humility, and unwavering faith. Her kind heart, warm smile, and gentle presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Calling hours will be held on Friday July, 25th, 2025 from 4- 6 pm in Nordgren Memorial Chapel 300 Lincoln St. Worcester, MA 01605 and a Memorial Service on Saturday July 26th2025 at 10:30 a.m. in Tri-State Baptist Church, 386 Quinebaug Rd, North Grosvenor Dale, CT 06255.
Plans are underway to repatriate her remains to Kenya for a final resting place in Eldoret.
