Alfred P. Boyajian, 96, of Falmouth, MA, originally of South Boston, formerly of Dorchester and Randolph, passed peacefully on July 14, 2025 at JML Care Center in Falmouth.
Alfred was the devoted husband of Florence (Sungaila) Boyajian for 74 years. Beloved father of Christine Marquez and her late husband Jesse Marquez of Hyde Park, Valerie Boyajian of Falmouth, the late Alfred S. Boyajian, Marianne DiBona and her late husband Peter DiBona of Northridge, CA.
Alfred was the loving grandfather of six: Jesus de Gabriel Marquez, Jessica Marquez and Matthew Marquez; Alex DiBona and his wife Julia Dorligsuren, the late Karl DiBona and John DiBona. Great-grandfather of two: Justice Marquez and Keyleigh Marquez. Great-great grandfather of three: Justice Sandra Marquez, Ivie Marquez and Niomi Marquez. Also, uncle and cousin of additional extended family.
The family will be celebrating Alfred’s life privately. Details for the family memorial to be announced.
Alfred’s words: “I was truly blessed with the happiest days of my life to serve as a United States Marine. One of the blessings I have inherited is the glorious reputation and magnificent courage and honor displayed since its [the Marine Corps] foundation in 1775. My spiritual glory has been the pride of flag and country. Most of my life has been in the service of government which I have been proud to serve.”
