CHATTANOOGA, TN – Aaron J. Scribner, 28, of Chattanooga, TN, and a longtime resident of Chicopee was Called Home on Thursday, July 3, 2025 after his courageous battle with heart disease. He was born in Springfield on March 6, 1997, a beloved son of Leslie Ann (Breyare) Gardner of Chicopee and Robert L. Scribner and his wife, Catherine, of Leesburg, Florida. He lived in Holyoke and moved to Chicopee where he graduated from Chicopee Comprehensive High School. Aaron furthered his education and attended Springfield Technical Community College and moved to Chattanooga in 2022. He was last employed by Accenture, where he continued to offer his IT expertise for L-3 Harris Technologies. Aaron spent his most recent years making lasting memories throughout the city of Chattanooga with his girlfriend, Samantha. He had touched the heart of countless strangers along the way as well as accrued many new, meaningful friendships during this time. He never missed a Celtics game and was always there to cheer “Let’s go!” for his favorite player, Jayson Tatum. He felt most at peace when walking along the Coolidge Park River Path, enjoying physical activity outside with a cold refreshment afterwards, or a casual round of golf with friends. Aaron’s hobbies included connecting with people worldwide online, and creating lasting friendships that revolved around his interests; this included stock trading, video game interest, and discussion with others who shared similar heart conditions. In addition to his parents, he leaves his three sisters, his twin, Alyssa N. Scribner and her children, Jocelyn and Jackson, all of Chicopee, Sarah Whelihan of South Hadley, and Shelby Carter of Leesburg, FL; his two brothers, Corey L. Scribner of Chicopee and Daniel Calhoun of Chicopee; his maternal grandmother, Charlene (Desroches) Martin of Chicopee; his maternal grandfather, Arthur Breyare and his wife, Janice, of Chicopee; his paternal grandmother, Ann (Blanchard) Wisner of Westfield; his partner, Samantha Marra of Chattanooga, TN; and his many uncles, aunts, cousins, numerous friends in Chicopee and Chattanooga, and extended family members. He was predeceased by his sister, Ashley Nicole Breyare who was Called Home on November 12, 2024.
