Alice Marcelin (94) of Brockton passed away on July 14th in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Nativa Guillaume.
She was born in Cayes, Haiti. Alice was a deacon at the Brockton Church of God and was one of its founding members. She was very active in her church, was known as a “woman of God” and “Prayer Warrior”. Alice was also known for taking care of others and was the matriarch of her family.
Alice is survived by her daughter Deacon Mrs. Ghislaine Vaneps of Brockton, MA., and her son Pastor Wilfrid Guillaume of Binghamton, NY.; 7 grand children: Patricia Augustin, Katlene Torres, Marcel Vaneps, Gregory Vaneps, Alysha Guillaume, Abigail Guillaume and Daniel Guillaume; 5 great grandchildren: Marcel Vaneps lll, Malachi Vaneps, Maliya Vaneps, Gregory Vaneps Jr., and Amethyst Vaneps.
Viewing in the Brockton Church of God, 80 Pleasant Street Brockton Saturday, July 26th at 8 am. Funeral Services to follow at 9 am. Burial to follow in Melrose Cemetery, 88 N Pearl Street Brockton.
