James J. Hopkins, age 65, passed away on July 11, 2025 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on July 28, 1959 in Holyoke, son of the late Joseph and Regina (Bujnicki) Hopkins. James was the owner and founder of a printing company for over 30 years as well as an owner of antique show grounds in Brimfield. James enjoyed working, providing for his family, taking care of his customers and his employees and dining out. He also enjoyed playing tennis. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Luiza (Carreira) Hopkins of Brimfield; one brother, Joseph Hopkins and his wife Donna of Templeton; two sisters, Marie Borjeson of Norwood and Valerie Hopkins of Palmer; one niece Tiffany Borjeson and her husband Keith Herer; a great niece Ellison Herer along with many other extended family and friends who will miss him dearly. He is predeceased by his brother John Hopkins. Calling hours will be held on the morning of the funeral, Friday, July 18, 2025 from 9:00 – 10:00 AM at the Grise Funeral Home followed by an in house prayer service at 10:00 AM.
