James “Jim” W. Widor, age 80, of Medford died unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 9th. He was born in Portland, Maine, in 1944, the son of the late Joseph W. Widor and Aune Helen (Ware) Widor. Jim was educated in South Portland, Maine, schools and the University of Maine.
Jim served in the US Army, and was a Controller for several car dealerships in Massachusetts. He worked at Toyota of Watertown for over 25 years up until his 80th birthday. Jim had a love and passion for “numbers” and was devoted to his work. He was the beloved partner and spouse of the late Joseph S. Lynch for 49 years.
Jim was predeceased by his spouse, parents, and sister, Julie Widor Powers, brothers Kenneth A. Widor and Alan J. Widor. He is survived by his sister Marilyn Hutchinson of Auguste, Maine. In addition to his sister, Jim is survived by his nieces and nephews, along with many great-nieces and nephews.
