Lyman, Maine- Kristin Dawn Fairweather, age 33, passed away unexpectedly on July 10, 2025, at her home.
Kristin was born in New London, Connecticut on August 27, 1991, daughter of William and Debbie Gembach.
She graduated as an honor student from Spaulding High School in Rochester, New Hampshire.
Kristin married the love of her life Jake Fairweather, a man who loved her unconditionally, on September 30, 2023, in Kennebunk, Maine. She was a devoted wife and a loving mother to her children.
Some of Kristin’s passions and interests were spending time with her two loving and energetic sons and fun loving husband from outside activities like cornhole to cuddling on the couch, wood burning, crocheting, collecting sea glass, creating personalized gifts for friends and family, hunting for a bargain deal, cleaning everything in sight, and a total love of animals, especially birds.
She is predeceased in death by Grandmother Bonnie McGuire, Great Grandparents Forrest and Daisy Lambert and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Kristin survived by her husband, Jake Fairweather, children Brayden Grey and Jake Fairweather Jr, parents William and Debbie Gembach, annoying little sister, Leigha Gembach, Grandfather Don McGuire, Grandparents William and Rue Gembach, Grandparents Ron and Bonnie Barbour and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Kristin’s bubbly personality could light up a room. Her color of choice is pink and her favorite flower – is the yellowish orange sunflower. We invite you to wear pink or another bright color to help light up this day.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to aid the family.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday July 18th from 1 - 3 PM, followed by a 3 PM service at the Chad E. Poitras Cremation and Funeral Service Chapel, 125 Sokokis Trail (Rt. 5) in East Waterboro.
