Paul G. Lamontagne, age 72, passed away on July 7, 2025 at the East Longmeadow Skilled Nursing Home. He was born on July 7, 1953 in Holyoke, son of the late Albert Joseph Lamontagne and Mary Jane (Ducharme) Lamontagne. Paul worked as a teacher for over 40 years before he retired from the Cheshire Academy School in CT. He loved to travel, teach, tutor and had an admiration for Stained Glass. He is survived by two brothers, Richard Lamontagne and his wife Susan of Vermont and Gerald Lamontagne and his wife Julie of Washington State; 2 nieces, Gretchen and Kristin; 2 nephews Darrell and Timothy; 2 great nephews and 3 great nieces. Calling hours will be held on Friday, August 8, 2025 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2025 from 8:30 – 9:30 AM at the Grise Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St Rose de Lima Church at 10:00 AM.
