Stephanie T. Dargie, 90 of Medford died Monday after a brief illness in the Sawtelle Hospice House Reading, MA.
Born in Mexico, Maine, she was the daughter of the late Carmella (Torino) and Serafino Palleschi. Stephanie worked at the former DePasquale Restaurant in Medford for several years and also was a Function Manager for 18 years at the former Hotel Madison at North Station. At the age of 80 she became a Lunch Mother at the Hervey School in Medford. She enjoyed doing cross puzzles and loved playing cards especially with her best friend and sister Louise Rubbicco.
Beloved wife of the late Raymond E. Dargie. Devoted mother of Frederick Dargie and his wife Camille of Florida, Judith Hopkins and her husband Raymond of New York, Dorothy Richards and her husband Bob of Melrose. Also survived by 5 loving grandchildren and 1 loving great grandson. Sister and best friend of Louise Rubbicco of Reading and the late Carmella Spadea, and Raymond Palleschi.
A funeral service will be conducted in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Friday at 10 AM.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Visiting hours Thursday 4 - 8.
Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
