BUXTON- Frances “Fran” Kenyon (Ouellette), 76, passed away on July 9, 2025, surrounded by family at the Gosnell House after a courageous battle with COPD.
She was born in Portland, Maine, on May 26th 1949, to the late William and Gwen Ouellette. She grew up in Portland and attended schools there. In 1968, she married Mike Kenyon, and together they had two children: Timothy and Teri. They moved to Southern Oregon in 1984, returning to Maine in 2011.
In her golden years, she enjoyed watching game shows and crime shows (especially NCIS), playing computer games, and making jewelry. She also enjoyed sewing and was a part of a local sewing group in Buxton. Fran cherished company, laughter, tea time, and shopping with her sister.
Fran was predeceased by her parents, William and Gwen, and her brother, Thomas Ouellette. She leaves behind her devoted husband of 57 years, Mike Kenyon; her loving sister, Darlene Smith; her two children: Timothy Kenyon (and his wife Marjorie) and Teri Davis; her two grandchildren, Ashley Ruth and McKenzie Davis; and her four great-grandchildren: Dayton, Nova, Teighan, and Stella. Her extended family in Maine and Oregon will also miss her dearly.
