Joan was a woman of great faith who enjoyed time with her family, tea with friends, reading, baking, crafting and serving her church by ministering to a local hospice community. Joan enjoyed a 40-year career as a hairdresser before retiring her scissors 10 years ago. Her clients were like family to her and benefited from Joan’s gift as a compassionate listener.

Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richards Avenue, Paxton. A calling hour will be on Friday, July 11th from 9:30am until 10:30am in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester.
