Obituary

Cherry Valley – Linda M. (Brassard) Brunelle, 74, of Cherry Valley passed away peacefully in her home on Monday, July 7, 2025.

Linda was married for 51 years to her best friend and loving husband, Henri “Hank” H. Brunelle, who died in December of 2022. She is survived by her daughter, Keri L. Brunelle of Cherry Valley; a daughter in law, Christina Brunelle of Worcester; a sister, Jacqueline Martin of Cape Ann, ME; her 3 grandchildren that she loved to be with, Riley Brunelle, Reaghan Brunelle and Charli Brunelle and many nephews and nieces.

Linda was born in Leominster, daughter of the late Robert and Myra (Bergeron) Brassard and is predeceased by her son, Todd H. Brunelle who died in October 2023 and a sister, Jeannine Hacanis.

She graduated from the former Holy Name High School and later continued her education by attending cosmetology and hair styling school. Linda worked various jobs including Paul Revere Insurance Company and the Earring Tree at the Auburn Mall, but her primary job for many years was working alongside and co-owning Mid State Snacks with her husband until they sold the business in 2012.

Linda was a talented crafter and sold items at many craft fairs, she especially looked forward to the craft fair that was held at Shephard Hill Regional High School. She always made her family a priority, there were countless times that she put her life on hold to put the needs of her family first. Linda cherished the time she was able to spend with her children and grandchildren. The family and friends of Linda always looked forward to their 30 plus years of camping at Point Judith, where they made countless memories that will never be forgotten.

The funeral will be held on Monday, July 14, from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. Worcester with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in Saint John’s Church 44 Temple St. Worcester. Burial alongside her husband will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, July 13, from 5 to 7 in the funeral home.
