O’Dea, Catherine P. (Cryan) of Needham, passed away on July 7, 2025. Born in Keash Ballymote, County Sligo, Ireland. Beloved wife of Thomas Louie O’Dea for 63 years. Devoted mother of Ann O’Dea and her husband Martin Farren of Dover, Eileen Moffett of Topsfield, Maureen O’Dea of Merrimack, NH and Alexis Kelleher and her husband Bill of Needham. Loving grandmother of Meagan, Molly, Margaret, Bobby, Emily, Jack, Norah, Ronan and Eamon. Great-grandmother of McKenzie. Sister of Joseph and Thomas Cryan both of Ireland, Bartholomew Cryan of North Attleborough and the late Mary Cryan. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation at the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 1305 Highland Ave. Needham on Monday, July 14, from 4 to 7pm. Funeral from the funeral home on Tuesday, July 15 at 9am followed by a funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church, Needham at 10am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment in St. Mary Cemetery, Needham.
