It is with great sadness we share that Deborah Theresa Hanley passed away unexpectedly in late June 2025 in Worcester, MA. Deborah was born on September 10, 1950, to George A. Hanley and Ann (Rembiszewski) Hanley. She graduated from Doherty Memorial High School in 1968. She went on to graduate from Salem State College in 1972, becoming the first person in her family to obtain a college degree.
Deborah is survived by her daughter, Annie Hanley; her siblings Maryann Lofton, Elizabeth Manafort, Judith Hanley, Stephen Hanley, and David Hanley; and many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Ann Hanley, and her sister, Christine Malone, all of whom Deborah lovingly cared for leading up to their deaths.
A celebration of life will be held on 7/26/2025 at Grill on the Hill restaurant in Green Hill Park in Worcester, MA between 4-8pm. Please reference the website below for more information on Debbie’s celebration.
