William Thomas Walker, son of Frances Peckham Walker and Ian MacLean Walker, died peacefully on June 29th, 2025 at his Jiley Hill residence in Tiverton, RI.
Born in 1931, Bill spent his childhood at his parents’ Swansea homestead and returned to his parents’ home in Little Compton in the late 1960s.
There he took both pride and pleasure in helping his younger brother Coll at Walker’s Roadside Stand. He loved being part of the farm scene.
Bill enjoyed making pine cone wreaths for family and friends, creating large abstract paintings, tending his vegetable garden, and relaxing to a good TV Western.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents as well as his siblings Ian Walker, Cynthia Martin and Coll Walker.
A celebration of Bill’s life will be held on July 25th from 10:30am to 12:30pm at Cup Defenders, 230 Wood Street, Bristol, RI 02809.
