"Caroline C. Cook of Malden, MA, passed away peacefully in late June of 2025. She was the beloved wife of the late Lawrence Cook—her true and great love—with whom she shared a devoted marriage from December of 1976 until his passing in early 2002.
Caroline is survived by her cherished cat, Bridget; her dear brother, Mario Colucci of Dorchester, MA; her loving nieces, Linda Riihimaki and Jessica Duncan, both of Danvers, MA; a life-long friend Rita D’Agostino of Peabody, MA; and a few other treasured relatives and close friends.
Caroline began her career right out of high school with Bell Atlantic, which later became Verizon. She remained a loyal and dependable employee for many years. After her "retirement", she continued giving her time and energy by volunteering.
A deeply compassionate soul, Caroline dedicated herself to helping others. She spent many years volunteering to support animal welfare, veterans, individuals with special needs, and anyone who simply needed a helping hand. She will be lovingly remembered for her generous spirit, her devotion to her pets, and her incredible home cooking that brought comfort and connection to any of those lucky enough to sit at her table.
Private, intimate services will be held by the family.
In honor of Caroline’s giving nature, and in lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to your local animal shelter. Those wishing to remember her are also encouraged to show kindness to an animal, lend a hand to someone in need, or cook a meal for someone they love."
