Jennifer L. Teller, 73

Jennifer L. (Stevenson) Teller, age 73, a resident of Mansfield since 2019, passed away on Friday, July 4, 2025 at the Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro.
Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on August 11, 1951, she was a loving daughter of the late John, Jr. and Beverley F. (Arlen) Stevenson.
Jennifer grew up and was educated in Wisconsin, Illinois and California. She continued her studies, graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Anthropology from UC Berkeley. Later, she returned to school, earning her PhD in Sociology at Kent State University.
Prior to retiring, Jennifer had worked in research at the University of Michigan, at NEOUCOM and as an Academia Researcher at Kent State University.
A former resident of Dearborn, Michigan and Aurora, Ohio, Jennifer was proud of her many years of volunteer work for the League of Women Voters and also served as a former Administrator of the Aurora Library Trust.
Jennifer’s happiest times were those spent with her loving and adoring family. She was a voracious reader, often reading a book a day of with her favorite genres of fantasy and thrillers.
She is survived by her devoted sons, Justin S. Teller and his wife Lindsay of Bend, Oregon, Sean S. Teller and his wife Jennet of Mansfield, Massachusetts and Ryan S. Teller and his wife Claire of Bend, Oregon. She was the cherished grandmother of Aziza Teller. She was the dear sister of Michele Pattenaude of Biddeford, Maine, Jill Stevenson and her husband Jon Moreland of Bend, Oregon and the loving aunt of Rick, Katie, Lauren and Michael.
All are cordially invited to attend a time to celebrate Jennifer’s life on Saturday, July 12th beginning at 12:00 Noon at the home of her son Sean in Mansfield.
