In Loving Memory of Gayle Sharina Joseph-McClorin
January 2, 1976 – June 5, 2025
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Gayle Sharina Joseph-McClorin, who departed this life on June 5, 2025, at the age of 49. Gayle was born on January 2, 1976, in Roseau, Dominica, and made her home in Dorchester, Massachusetts, where she touched many lives with her warmth, strength, and generosity.
Gayle was a devoted mother to her beloved children, Zya and Tyler, who were the light of her life. She was the cherished daughter of Cynthia Joseph and Arthur Joseph.
She is lovingly remembered by her siblings: Tracy, Fitz-Morris, Janet, Anthony, Terry, Judith, and Pinnard; her brother-in-law Leroy and sister-in-law Katie; and her many nieces and nephews, including Emma, Fitzie, Isaiah, Kaden, and others who brought her immense pride and joy. She also shared a close and cherished bond with her cousin Krystle. Gayle leaves behind a large and loving extended family, including many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.
Gayle was employed as an ETL Specialty Sales Leader at Target for over 9 years, a role she thoroughly enjoyed and took great pride in. Her dedication, leadership, and kind spirit left a lasting impression on both her team and the guests she served.
She will be remembered for her compassionate heart, radiant smile, and unwavering love for her family and community. Her deep connection to her Dominican heritage and her ability to bring people together made her a light in the lives of many.
A memorial service to celebrate Gayle’s life will be held on Friday, July 18th, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Casper Funeral Home, 187 Dorchester Street, Boston, MA.
Though Gayle's time on earth was far too brief, the love she shared and the lives she touched will never be forgotten.
