They were married in 1955 and together they raised their three children, Bruce Lafleur, Kenneth Lafleur and Deborah Tencza. In 1967 they moved, with her parents, to Point O Woods Beach in South Lyme, CT. While at Point O Woods Beach Phyllis and her mother were partners in Hillcrest Real Estate. She also worked for the South Lyme post office. Phyllis had many roles in life but the ones she loved the most and did the best was as a daughter to her beloved parents whom she lived with all their life, wife to her beloved husband Bob that she was with for 57 years until his passing in 2013, mother to her three children, grandmother and great grandmother. Since she was an only child, she also loved being a sister-in-law to Albert’s large family of brothers and sisters and their spouses. They have all predeceased her except for her loving sister-in-law Constance Lafleur of Chicopee, MA. Phyllis was also predeceased by her son Kenneth Lafleur in 2013. She leaves to treasure her memory, her son Bruce Lafleur wife Patricia of Murrells Inlet, SC and her daughter Deborah Tencza husband Chuck of Berlin, CT. Grandsons Kevin, Brian, Matthew, Ryan and Jason Lafleur, granddaughters Sarah Lafleur and Catherine Tencza. Her precious great grandchildren Colby, Kaleb, Avery, Mattilyn, Corbin and Marina.
