Marie C. (Manganaro) Schettino, 94 of Tewksbury, passed away peacefully after a period of declining health on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill with her loving family by her side. She was the widow of the late Vincent G. Schettino who passed away in 1989.
She was born on December 6, 1930 in Everett, MA and was a daughter of the late Carmello Manganaro and the late Lena Manganaro. She was raised in Everett where she attended the area schools, graduating from Everett High School.
Marie worked as an inspector at Raytheon for many years before her retirement.
Marie was an active member of the Tewksbury community. She belonged to several organizations, including the Tewksbury Senior Center, VFW Post 8164 Auxiliary, Knights of Columbus #4336, Tewksbury-Wilmington Elks, and the Red Hatters Club.
Affectionately known as "Nana" she was active, energetic, compassionate and devoted to her family. She is survived by her grandchildren, Nicole DiFranco and her husband, Carl, of Atkinson, NH, Dylan Schettino and Madison Schettino both of Parkland FL; and her great grandchildren, Dominic and Kalina. She is also survived by her two sisters, Virginia Perriello of Nashua, NH, and Camille Tassanari and her husband, John of Everett, her daughter in law, Lisa Schettino of Parkland, FL; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, the late Gail Budzyna and her son in law, the late Walter Budzyna; her son, the late Vincent Schettino; her sister, the late Conchetta 'Connie' Dipiero; her brother, the late Phillip Manganaro; and her grandchildren, the late Deidre Budzyna, and the late Justin Schettino.

All are welcome to attend her calling hours on Monday, July 7, 2025 from 9-11 a.m. at Tewksbury Funeral Home, 1 Dewey Street, Tewksbury, MA 978-851-2061. Her funeral Mass will be offered at 11:30 a.m. at St. Williams Church in Tewksbury, followed by burial at Tewksbury Cemetery.
