In Loving Memory of Madet Levius Lacroix
May 29, 1935 – June 28, 2025

It is with heavy hearts and deep love that the Lacroix family announces the passing of Madet Levius Lacroix, who departed this life on June 28, 2025, at the age of 90, in Randolph, Massachusetts.

Born on May 29, 1935, in Belladère, Haiti, Madet was a devoted husband to the late Pauline Denaud Lacroix and a proud father of nine children. He was a faithful servant of God and a long-standing member of Holy Family Parish and the Legion of Mary, where he lived out his faith with devotion and humility.

Madet dedicated over thirty years of service in the Haitian military, exemplifying courage, loyalty, and discipline. His life was grounded in a deep sense of purpose—serving his country, his family, and his faith community.

Since 1983, Madet was an active member of the Holy Family of Saint Mary, walking in faith under the guidance of Reverend Father Jacques Baudry and Sister Berthe Hernandez. That sacred mission is now carried forward by Reverend Father Filor, to whom we pray God grants strength and wisdom.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Pauline, and two of his children, Wilton Lacroix and Martine Lacroix. He is survived by his loving children: John Lacroix, Judith Lacroix,
Voltaire Brunel Lacroix, Marjorie Lacroix, Edwing Lacroix, Donasson Lacroix, and Claudel Lacroix.
Madet leaves behind a treasured legacy in his grandchildren: Dylann Lacroix, Ty’rick Lacroix,
Marvens Antoine, Gabriel Lacroix, Djendiny Cohen, Nathalie Clerge, Nathucia Clerge, Jefferson Lacroix, Abygael Lacroix, Pauline Lacroix, Patterson Lacroix, Anne Tessa Lacroix, Jean Brune Lacroix, Megan Lacroix, Stephan Lacroix, Rayden Moise, Faddena Moise, Christine Desir,

Madet’s life was a reflection of steadfast faith, sacrifice, and unconditional love. His legacy will continue to live on through the countless lives he touched—with wisdom, quiet strength, and grace.

Father, I am convinced that wherever you are, you are resting in peace among the angels of heaven. May Almighty God welcome you into His eternal light.”
