William ‘Bill’ Thomas Tweedy Sr, 87 Passed away surround by family on June 17, 2025.
Bill was born in Taunton, MA on June 28, 1937. The son of the late Robert and Vivian Tweedy
of Warwick, RI and brother to the late Judith Martin of Falmouth, MA.
He lived for many years in Rhode Island where he owned Bill Thomas Photography Studio in Warwick where he captured lasting memories for many people. He also served as
Scoutmaster for Boy Scout Troop 1 in Warwick with his son Billy.
Bill spent his last decades living on Cape Cod where he continued his passion for
photography, artistic pursuits and bicycling where he was a member of Narragansett Bay
Wheelmen and League of American Bicyclists.
He is survived by his wife Aurelia Borges of West Yarmouth, Son William Jr. and fiancée
Donna Vitale of Coventry, Rhode Island, step-daughter Vera Neville and her husband Jay
Neville of Plymouth, MA along with his grandchildren, nieces and nephews who will miss
him dearly.
Services will be on July 22nd, 2025 at 11:00am in the First Congregational Church, 329 Main Street, RT 6A, Yarmouth, MA 02675.
In Lieu of flowers the family suggests a donation the American Parkinson Disease
Association to help in the help against this devastating disease.
