BUXTON- William "Bill" R. Young, age 67, passed away peacefully at home in Buxton on June 27, 2025.
He was born in Portland on Sept. 10, 1957, a son of Harold Herbert and Fay (Price) Young.
Bill will always be remembered as a skilled mechanic who could fox about anything. He built go-karts, and refurbished older vehicles and tractors. For many years, Bill was employed at Mainely Small Engines in Westbrook. He always known to be working on projects and helping people out with their mechanical needs.
He is predeceased by his father- Herbert Young Jr.
Bill is survived by his son- Alex Young; his mother- Fay Price of Buxton; siblings- Sherry Young, Kathy Lurvey, Paul Young, and Raymond Young.
Burial will be at a later date amongst his family.
