Elizabeth M. "Beth" Cahill, age 70, of Brockton, cherished aunt and sister, passed away on June 12, 2025, at Boston Medical Center South in Brockton after a short illness.
Born in New York City, NY, she was the daughter of the late Duncan L. and Elizabeth (Flett) Cahill. The family moved to Boston in the mid 1960's to be closer to relatives, eventually settling in Brockton, where Beth lived and worked for most of her life.
After graduating from Brockton High School, Beth attended Southeastern Regional Technical, where she earned her certification as a Medical Assistant. She worked for many years as a phlebotomist and held various positions in the medical field, including a long tenure at GI Associates in Brockton before retiring. She deeply valued her work, colleagues, and the doctors with whom she worked.
Beth was happiest when surrounded by her nieces and nephews, especially during birthdays and holidays, always bringing laughter with all her antics. A devoted animal lover, she rescued several cats over the years and cared deeply for all animals.
Beth is survived by her siblings: Robert Cahill and his wife Cathy, of Frederick, MD; Michael Cahill and his wife Valerie, of Hingham; Richard Cahill and his wife Linda, of East Bridgewater; as well as many nieces, nephews, and grand-nieces and nephews who enriched Beths life and brought her so much joy. She was predeceased by her beloved son, Ryan L. Cahill.
