Peter Romanowsky, 83, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died at the Tower Hill Center for Health and Rehabilitation in Canton on Thursday, August 17. He was the husband of Aina (Kaliksons) Romanowsky. Born and educated in Latvia, Mr. Romanowsky came to the U.S. in 1952 and settled in Boston until moving to Stoughton in 1959. He was a machinist at Hershey-Sparling in Dedham for many years before retiring 15 years ago. He enjoyed fishing and the Red Sox.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Romanowsky is survived by his sons, Arno Romanowsky of FL and John E. Romanowsky of Stoughton. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
