John Passed away on May 6, 2025. He was born on August 25, 1951, son of the late Ernest McCarthy. He is survived by his mother Elaine Pilon of Chicopee; his wife Gale of AZ; one son, Jason and his wife Kelly and their son Linus of N.C; a step son Adam; one sister, Dorie Otero; one brother Bob Pilon and his wife Kim of Agawam along with many other extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly. He is predeceased by his daughter Dawn who passed in 2004. John served in the US Navy. He later worked as a car salesman in VT and Central Chevrolet in West Springfield. He loved hunting, fishing, boating and playing poker. All services were private. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
