Some of his children’s favorite memories of him include camping and hiking trips in the NH White Mountains, sing-a-longs with their dad on guitar, and long walks together through Boston, Cambridge and along the shore.

Chuck is survived by his devoted wife Kathleen Leech of Braintree MA, his treasured children Christopher Leech of Cambridge MA, Jane Leech and her partner Jonathan Jenkins of Sharon MA, Susan Strate and her husband Joel Strate of Williamsburg MA; his beloved grandchildren Charles Strate, Kay and Clara Jenkins, as well as his nephew Ken Ball and wife GiGi of Colleyville TX, niece Sarah Brandon and husband David currently residing in Portugal, nephew Charles (Chach) Voas and wife Elizabeth Baldwin of Annandale VA, as well as grand -nieces and -nephews, and his brother-in-law Charles Voas.
