Steven A. Sutkus, 68, passed away on June 14, 2025. He was born on May 14, 1957, in Worcester, son of the late Algerd Bernard Sutkus and Gladys Theresa (Jason) Sutkus.
Steven proudly served in the U.S. Air Force and most recently worked for Home Depot. In his free time, he enjoyed visiting local breweries, fishing, and spending as much time as possible with his grandchildren—getting down on the floor to play, laugh, and create lasting memories. Known lovingly as Papa, he was proud to share stories, photos, and videos of his grandkids with anyone who would listen.
He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia J. (Connor) Sutkus of Chicopee; two daughters, Amy LeFebvre and her husband Mike of Westfield, and Kelly Lorenz and her husband Scott of Chicopee; two sons, Jeffrey Sutkus and his partner Yvette Langford of Milwaukee, and Tyler Sutkus and his fiancée Haleigh Gazda of Worcester.
Steven was a devoted father and a beloved Papa. He will be deeply missed by his five grandchildren: Derrick, Riley, Aubree, Chase, and Noah Steven. He is also survived by his two sisters, Debbie Sutkus and Carol Kelley. He was predeceased by his brother, Kenneth Sutkus.
Military Honors will be rendered on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of the MA Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main St, Agawam, followed by a celebration of life at 4pm at Rumbleseat Bar and Grille in Chicopee.
