Helen M. (Scott) Waites age 70 of Salem, NH, died Monday at the Holy Family Hospital, Methuen, MA. She was born in Brentwood, NH, grew up in Salem, NH and graduated from Woodbury High School in 1955, and was a life long resident.
Mrs. Waites was a an engineer for Labor Standards for Raytheon Corporation, where she worked for over 38 years in several branches.
She was a friend of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Methuen, MA, where she and her husband Paul catered and cooked for all of the church functions. She was active with catering and cooking for the Methuen Senior Center in Methuen, MA. She enjoyed spending her time with her family and friends.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, Aug. 24 at 10 AM at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, 90 Broadway, Methuen, MA. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Salem, NH.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday, Aug. 23 from 4-7 PM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St, Salem, NH.
