Wayne Richard Myslinski fell into eternal sleep on June 5, 2025. He was born to Chester and Jane Myslinski on Nov. 14, 1964. To our family he was the jokester, our buddy and friend. Wayne will be greatly missed by his mother Jane, his four brothers, David, James, Chester and Donald and his wife Donna as well as his eight sisters, Lucy Butterfield, Kathleen Quenneville and her husband Henry, Nyomi Zaraya and her husband Jack, Jane, Karen, Cynthia and Lisa Myslinski and Gail Brown and her husband David. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Most worthy is Wayne’s childhood friend of 50 plus years, Glenn Graham whom he shared much fun and mischievous times with. He was employed by his best friend, Tony, of Perla’s Pool Service, as a Certified Pool Operator and Warehouse Manager, taking great pride and joy in his work. He was known as Ragnar by Tony which is a Viking name meaning “keeper of the fort”, very fitting since Wayne gave twenty SELFLESS years of service to our mother and brother Butch; cooking, housekeeping and nurturing, all in his witty and entertaining style. Our family gatherings were sprinkled with his surprising theatrics, which will be greatly missed. Wayne valued family and friends and had the ability to make people laugh with his slapstick humor. He is survived by his dear aunt Lavina; his uncles Eber Smallwood and his wife Deborah and Ken Smallwood. Among many others, Wayne's biggest supporters were his SWELLIE and Green Room groups, which wall papered his hospital walls with cards of love and encouragement and filled his room each evening with soothing music, something he looked forward to since Wayne was a huge music enthusiast. Including Mary Mooen who was a big part of Wayne's support. Wayne is now reunited with our father Chester who passed away in 1994, and our precious sister Grace who died in 2022. His memory will be cherished by all who knew him. The impact of Wayne’s love, kindness and humor will live on forever in our hearts. A special thank you to the N.E. Hingham MA Hospice, Herb and Laurie for your genuine love and comfort of Wayne and your support and guidance to his family. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2025 from 4:00 – 6:00 PM at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee. Burial will be private at a later date in St Stanislaus Cemetery.
