Obituary

Michael E. Kerrigan, 55, of Derry, NH, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at his residence. He was born on May 5, 1970, in Staten Island, NY, a son of Patricia (Schneider) Kerrigan and the late Michael Kerrigan. He had been a resident of Derry for the past 2 years, formerly living in Manchester, NH, and spending most of his life in Staten Island, NY.

Michael could be found doing many activities with loved ones. He loved watching basketball or football, always cheering on The Lakers and Cowboys. You could cheer on someone else, and he would respect that, while also telling you how wrong you were. He also loved playing golf with anyone who would go with him, but if you were one of his closest friends you end any golf trip at Poor Boy's with a delicious meal. And if he were ever given time on his own, he could be found somewhere outdoors looking to chat with anyone passing by or indoors with his hot wheels collection, organizing or painting his cars.

Michael aka “Uncle CB” loved the time he spent with his nieces and nephews that include Emma Edwards, Travis and Corinne Graf, Emile, Hayden, and Lucia Graf. He could be found supporting his family at the baseball field, basketball courts and soccer field. In the fall he enjoyed going apple picking with his family. He always loved dressing up with the kids and trick or treating with them at Halloween.

In addition to his mother and her wife Pam Gordon, Michael is survived by his daughter, Valerie Cruz-Castro; two brothers, Matthew Graf and his wife Jennifer and Eric Graf and his wife Melissa; sister, Amy Welch and Mike Gosselin. Michael is also survived by a woman who was like a mother, Maryann Graf. In addition to his family, he is survived by his love, Tina Fortin. He was predeceased by his grandmother Florence “Nanny” Schneider, father Michael Kerrigan, and Henry Graf who was like another father.

Following cremation, calling hours will be held on Friday, June 27th from 4:00pm to 6:00pm in the Peabody Funeral Home & Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry, NH. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Catholic Youth Organization in Staten Island, 6541 Hyland Blvd, Staten Island, NY. Their url is cyony.org. This is where Michael spent many hours both as a youth and counselor working to support his community.
