Denise M. (Crilley) Barry, a lifelong resident of Charlestown, entered into eternal life suddenly of Friday, June 20, 2025. She was 52 years of age.
Denise was born in Malden on April 3, 1973, a daughter of the late Annmarie (McCormick) Crilley and retired Boston Firefighter Joseph W. Crilley. She grew up in Charlestown where she was educated at St. Catherine's Parochial School and graduated from Matignon High School in Cambridge in 1991. Denise furthered her education and received her Associates Degree from Bunker Hill Community College. Denise worked for over 25 years as a Secretary at headquarters for the Boston Fire Department. In her spare time, she enjoyed listening to music, crocheting and traveling.
Denise is the beloved wife of Daniel J. Barry. She is the devoted mother of Lauren A. Barry. She is the beloved sister of Annmarie McCaffrey, John Crilley and Mary McGonagle and her husband Pat. She is also survived by her loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Denise's visiting hours on Friday morning, June 27, 2025, from 9:30 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. in The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown followed by her Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, 55 Warren St. Charlestown at 12 Noon. Her burial will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden.
