Caroline A. (Souza) Albano, 89, of Medway, died peacefully on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at Whitney Place in Medway. She was the beloved wife of Joseph G. Albano, to whom she has been married since 1958.
Born in Cambridge on August 15, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Maria (Silva) Souza. Mrs. Albano had been a resident of Medway since 1967 and worked for many years at Dennison Avery in Framingham before retiring.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children: Richard Albano and his wife, Roxane, of Millis, Leonard Albano and his wife, Kathleen, of Belmont, and Teresa DeMarco and her husband, Raymond, of Conway, SC. She is also survived by five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her son, Robert Albano, and her siblings: Manuel “Jay” Souza, Louise Birnkammer, Mary Andrews, Alice Ponte, and Ermelinda Enos.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Mass on Wednesday, June 25 at St. Joseph Church, 151 Village St. in Medway at 10:30 a.m. Burial will take place privately at Cambridge Cemetery in Cambridge.
