Margaret M. (Hynes) O'Brien of Duxbury, formerly of West Roxbury, passed away on June 18, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Richard G. O’Brien. Loving mother of Michael O’Brien of NH, Ellen Munroe of ME, Paul O’Brien and his wife Katherine of Plymouth, John K. O’Brien of CA, and the late Richard J. O’Brien. Grandmother of Kieran and Margaret “Maggie” O’Brien, Sean and Brendan Munroe, Nicole Hildings, Kelly Sanders, Patrick O’Brien, Valerie Kelley, Greg Mitrano, Samantha Peracchi, and Mary Grace O’Brien. Sister of Kevin Hynes and his wife Deb of Plymouth and the late Joan Murrin. Also survived by many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours in the William J. Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre Street, WEST ROXBURY on Sunday, June 22nd from 3-6pm. Funeral from the funeral home on Monday, June 23rd at 9:00 am. Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. John Chrysostom Church at 10am. Relatives and friends invited. Interment Cedar Grove Cemetery.
