Barbara “Bonnie” Kathleen Barnett (Stewart), of Franklin, a woman of immense talent, kindness, and flair, passed away too soon on June 18, 2025, at the age of 81, in Boston, Massachusetts. Her absence leaves a profound void in the hearts of all who knew her.
Born on January 2, 1944, in Quincy, Massachusetts. She grew up with a creative spirit and a love for the ocean, having spent many joyful times in the Brant Rock area of Marshfield. She was a proud graduate of Dedham High School.
Bonnie was the beloved wife of Kenneth Barnett for 46 years, building a life filled with laughter, warmth, and shared passions. She was a truly gifted individual—a talented baker, chef, gardener, decorator, and seamstress with a keen eye for design. Her creativity transformed everything she touched, making ordinary moments feel special.
Beyond her many talents, Bonnie was an avid birder, a passionate lover of books and art, and known for her impeccable sense of style and beauty.
She will be remembered not only for her flair for fashion, intelligence, and vibrant sense of humor, but most importantly, for her profound kindness. Her best qualities live on in all of us whose lives she has touched.
Bonnie was genuinely loved by all who encountered her. Her career in promotional products began at Marketing Incentives and blossomed when she started her business, First Impressions. Many in the industry fondly remember Bonnie, often calling her the "original nicest person in promo"; —a testament to her warm demeanor and genuine character. She was also an active member and volunteer for the Women in Success Network for over a decade.
Bonnie is survived by her loving husband, Ken Barnett. She leaves behind her devoted children and those of Ken:

She is also survived by her sisters Janice Menino, Sheila O’Brien and her brother Mark Stewart. Bonnie was predeceased by her sister, Diane Spagna.,
She is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
Friends and family are invited to a celebration of Bonnie’s life on Monday, June 30, 2025, at 11:00 AM, followed by refreshments at the Plymouth Yacht Club, 34 Union Street, Plymouth, MA. Please bring stories to share as we remember Bonnie and the joy she brought into our lives.
