Obituary

Cecilia’s laughter and smile could brighten up any room. She remained a kid at heart through her adult life. She loved anything from “Tigger” on “Winnie the Pooh”. She loved to watch and read Anime. Her favorite animal was wolves. She enjoyed/needed her Vanilla Latte ice coffee from Starbucks. Cecilia liked Boba Tea, McDonald's, Scallops and Asian food. She needed her naps, as she would always let people know. Cecilia also loved to travel even though she didn’t do it much, because she preferred to work. She would tell anyone that listened that Jonathan McReynolds was her favorite gospel artist and her future husband.

Cecilia was passionate about many things, but mostly for the homeless population. Her passion for the homeless began at a very young age. Cecilia would ask her mom for money so she could hand it out. She would ask permission to take blankets from her mother's vehicle and give them away. She'd also ask her mother to buy food for anyone she saw on the streets. When Cecilia got older, she wanted to open a homeless shelter. Cecilia would make what she called “Love Bags" for the homeless which would include basic necessities. She did this with her own money and without cameras or being recognized for her acts of kindness.

Cecilia loved life and loved her family more! She loved the Lord with all her heart and had what her family would say “a direct line to God. They were best friends, and He heard her prayers more than anyone and would answer them”.

Family will be greeting family and friends at the Faithful Church of Christ, 235 Woodrow Ave, Dorchester from 5:00-6:00P.M. Services will begin at 6:00p.m.

Interment services will take place in North Carolina

Cecilia will be sorely and greatly missed!!!
