Carol Marie (Me' Me') Neagle (née Cote), age 82, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2025, in Boston, Massachusetts, surrounded by the love of her devoted family.
Born on November 9, 1942, in Brockton, Massachusetts, Carol was the cherished daughter of the late Richard and Florence Cote. From her earliest days, she brought warmth and joy to those around her-a spirit she carried throughout her life.
Carol shared a remarkable and inseparable bond with her beloved husband, Peter. Their enduring partnership was a testament to love and companionship; they were rarely seen apart. Together they built a beautiful life centered around family, laughter, and unwavering support for one another.
A proud and loving mother, Carol is survived by her children: Peter Michael Jr. and his wife Anne; Susan Neagle Levy and her husband Steven; and Kevin and his wife Christine. She was also a treasured sister to Patricia Yukna and Michelle Clark.
Known affectionately as Me' Me', Carol embraced her role as grandmother with boundless love. Her grandchildren-Joshua Levy and his wife Kelli, James Levy and his wife Randi, Zachary Neagle and his husband Brian, Jeremy Neagle, and Jonathan Neagle-were constant sources of pride and joy. Her legacy continues through her great-grandchildren: Coda, Altayre, and Rayden Levy.
Carol's home was a sanctuary of comfort where everyone felt welcome. She had an extraordinary gift for making people feel at ease whether through a warm embrace or a lovingly prepared meal. Her passion for cooking was matched only by her love for gathering with family. Holidays and everyday moments alike were made special by her presence.
She adored children and animals alike, nurturing all with tenderness and care. Her laughter filled every room she entered, leaving behind memories that will be cherished forever by those fortunate enough to have known her.
In addition to her immediate family, Carol is survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended loved ones who will miss her deeply.
Carol's life was one of deep love, quiet strength, and joyful generosity. May her memory bring comfort to all who knew her.
