Donna M. Lawrence (Collins) age 82, of Stoughton, formerly of Brockton, passed away peacefully on June 9, 2025, at Blue Hills Health and Rehabilitation Center in Stoughton. She was the wife of the late Paul V. Lawrence.
Born in Gardiner, Maine, she was the daughter of the late Francis M. Collins and Pauline (Bailey) Collins.
She worked security for many years at Newton Wellesley Hospital, in Wellesley, MA.
Donna, as a Deacon at the 2nd Congregational church in Jeffersonville, VT, loved helping people and volunteered in her community daily. In addition, her love for books made her an avid reader. Donna’s love for music and dancing was inspired through the voices and beats of Celine Dion, Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson. She had devoted love to all animals, but her beloved cats gave her endless comfort, joy and companionship. Donna’s sweet tooth led her to her favorites, which include the Maple frosted donut and the Coffee roll.
Mrs. Lawrence is survived by her three daughters, the late Lorraine Caira of Newton, MA, Christine Madden, of Newton, MA and Lisa A. Antunes of Brockton, MA ; her sisters, Linda Thatcher of Tampa, FL and Mary Zink of Troy, NY; her grandchildren, Cory (Vivianne) Antunes, Kimberly (Jeremy) Taylor, Anthony (Lisa) Caira, Nick (Caitlin) Caira and Ryan (Jessica) Madden; her Great Grandchildren, Dominic Antunes, Liv Antunes, Jackson Taylor, Kai Taylor, Emily Caira, and Gavin Caira.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to visit with Donna’s family on Friday, June 20, 2025, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, with a funeral service beginning at 12:00 pm, in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte. 123) Brockton.
