Worcester – Priscilla (Garney) LeBlond, 91, of Worcester, passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 in the Christopher House after an illness.
Mrs. LeBlond was married for 59 years to the late, Louis T. LeBlond who died in January 2025. She is survived by a son, Paul LeBlond and his wife, Lori of Cherry Valley; a grandson, Matthieu LeBlond of Cherry Valley; two sisters, Joanne Tetreault of Worcester and Thelma Whitaker of Georgia; a brother, Larry Garney of Florida and many nieces and nephews. She was born in Plattsburgh, NY and is predeceased by six siblings, Jean, George, Roland, Barbara, Betty and Loretta.
Mrs. LeBlond was a member of Saint Peter’s Church where she faithfully attended mass. She was a talented baker and cake decorator and often sold many cakes as a business from her home. For many years she would clean homes as a side job, but first and foremost she was devoted to her family. She cherished the time she was able to spend with them, especially her grandson and the weekly dinner nights that she and her husband would go on after attending mass.
The funeral will be held on Monday, June 23 from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. Worcester, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM in Saint Peter’s Church 929 Main St. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, June 22 from 5 to 7 PM in the funeral home.
