Robert J. Niven
“Bob”
Randolph, MA
Robert J. Niven, known to all as Bob, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, June 14th, surrounded by love. He was 69.
Bob is survived by his devoted wife of 45 years, Theresa “Terri” Niven; his beloved children, Jonathan, Kristen, and Jessica; and his daughter-in-law, Gabie. He was a proud and loving grandfather to five grandchildren: Kaylin, Haley, Jordan, Noah, and Clementine, who brought him immense joy and were the light of his life.
He is also survived by his sister, Kathy Page; his brother, Ronnie Niven; and many cherished nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
A lifelong resident of Randolph, Bob built a life rooted in family, hard work, and quiet dedication. He owned and operated his own business, always striving to provide a strong foundation for those he loved most. His happiest days were spent in the backyard with his grandchildren, where he was never without a new toy, gadget, or game to share.
Bob was an avid golfer and a passionate caretaker of his lawn — a perfectly manicured symbol of his care and pride that neighbors and passersby often admired. His warmth, humor, and generosity left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
A memorial service for anyone who wishes to attend, will be held to honor Bob’s life at a later date.
