Carol Ann (Kane) Oliver, 84, of Foxboro formerly of Medway, died June 15 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late James F. Oliver who died in 2019.
Born in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, December 25,1940, the daughter of the late Woodrow C. and Doris E. (Beaubien) Kane, Carol was raised in Woonsocket and had lived in Medway for many years prior to moving to Foxboro in 2002.
Carol had been a preschool teacher for 15 years at Country Cottage in Medway.
She was an avid Boston Sports fan.
Carol is survived by her children, Bruce Ozella of West Roxbury, Cheryl Wallace of Mendon, Holly Tremblay of Mendon, Laura Hamel of Uxbridge, Charlene DeVincent of North Attleboro and Christoper Oliver of Uxbridge.
She is also survived by her brother David Kane of Medway and was the sister of the late Woodrow Kane, Jr., Richard Kane, Ralph Kane, Dennis Kane and Alan Kane.
Carol is also survived by her 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of Carol’s will be held on Thursday, June 26 in the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home (ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 3 Barber Street from 4-6 p.m.,
with a brief service at 6:00p.m.
