Doyle, Vida Anne (Tender) of Wellesley. Loving wife of the late John F. Doyle, died on June 16, 2025. Vida was born in Brockton, MA on April 3, 1952. She was the daughter of the late Brone Budreika Tender and Isaac Joseph Tender. She is survived by her sister, Lisa Tender of Wellesley and her step son John M. Doyle, his longtime partner Lisa Rosenberger, step grandchildren Sofia Doyle, Jack Doyle and her step daughter Christina Doyle, all of California. Vida's mother and father were born in Lithuania and Lithuanian was her first language. Vida graduated from Wellesley High School 1971 and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in 3 years in psychology from Jackson College at Tufts University in 1974.
Vida was a hardworking, dedicated, loyal employee of Haynes Management, Inc for 37 years where she was a real estate broker. Earlier in her career, Vida was a model, she also worked in the restaurant business and in the financial services industry. Vida enjoyed gardening and was an avid reader. She enjoyed nature and taking long walks. She loved sitting in her sunroom and watching the birds and reading. She enjoyed boat rides and family gatherings with her longtime friends, the Fox clan, and especially enjoyed her time visiting her family in California.
Visitation at the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 477 Washington St. Wellesley on Friday, June 20, 4-7pm. Private funeral service on Saturday, June 21, at 11am followed by a private interment in St. Mary Cemetery, Needham.
